The collaboration between MedDream and VELMENI demonstrates how AI and cloud-native imaging technology can revolutionize complex diagnostic workflows. Built on AWS HealthImaging, the solution integrates VELMENI’s advanced AI platform with MedDream’s DICOM viewer, automating image analysis and visualization tasks that typically require 20–90 minutes of manual work.

This solution was integrated by one of the largest dental networks in the United States, the system automates detection of mandibular nerve canals, identifies key image views, and generates panoramic reconstructions. MedDream’s viewer then enables clinicians to perform precise measurements in seconds, eliminating manual variability and freeing clinicians to focus on diagnosis and patient care.

While the demonstration focuses on dental imaging, the workflow serves as a blueprint for integrating AI across radiology, cardiology, ophthalmology, and other medical imaging specialties.
