MedDream DICOM Viewer Integration With ScanFlow AI Hanging Protocols

ONLINE WEBINAR: ‘MedDream Viewer Integration with ScanFlow’s Intelligent Hanging Protocols’

June 16th | 4:00 PM EEST| Zoom Platform| REGISTER

Join us for an engaging session showcasing how MedDream and ScanFlow are transforming radiology workflows through the seamless integration of MedDream Viewer and ScanFlow’s Intelligent Hanging Protocols.

ScanFlow is a patented AI-enabled radiology workflow software that delivers consistent hanging protocols across MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound despite inconsistent DICOM metadata. Traditional hanging protocols break down across the numerous scanners within a healthcare institution due to varying metadata naming conventions, forcing radiologists to manually rearrange imaging studies every time they open a case. ScanFlow solves this by intelligently matching imaging sequences regardless of how they are named or structured, ensuring the right sequences automatically appear in the right viewport every time. Built by radiologists for radiologists, ScanFlow operates as a PACS-agnostic workflow layer that eliminates a daily inefficiency that costs radiologists significant time and cognitive load across every study they read.

This webinar will highlight the latest outcome of MedDream’s collaboration with ScanFlow: integration that brings ScanFlow’s intelligent, consistent hanging protocols directly into the MedDream Viewer — offering a seamless, scalable, and workflow-ready solution.

Guest Speaker:

Dr. Reid Portnoy

CEO at ScanFlow

Reid Portnoy, DO is a neuroradiology fellow at Mount Sinai in New York City and Co-Founder and CEO of ScanFlow alongside Victoria Ellison. Drawing from his firsthand clinical experience as a radiologist, Dr. Portnoy identified an overlooked inefficiency in diagnostic imaging. Because of sequence naming variation across multiple MRI and CT scanners within a healthcare institution, traditional hanging protocols fail and radiologists are forced to manually rearrange every case they open. Together, he and Victoria built ScanFlow, a patented AI-enabled software solution that delivers consistent hanging protocols regardless of how sequences are labeled across different scanners and institutions. ScanFlow eliminates a daily friction point that costs radiologists significant time and hospitals approximately $300,000 per year per radiologist.

About ScanFlow:

ScanFlow is a patented AI-enabled radiology workflow software that delivers consistent hanging protocols across MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound. Traditional hanging protocols fail because different MRI and CT scanners across an institution label the same imaging sequence inconsistently. For example, the same sequence may appear as “Cor T2 SSFSE BH” on one MRI scanner and “T2 COR HASTE” on another. This DICOM metadata inconsistency forces radiologists to manually rearrange their imaging studies every time they open a case. ScanFlow solves this by intelligently matching imaging sequences regardless of their naming, ensuring the right sequences automatically appear in the right viewport every time. Built by radiologists for radiologists, ScanFlow operates as a PACS-agnostic workflow layer that integrates seamlessly with existing PACS and diagnostic imaging viewers. ScanFlow eliminates a daily workflow inefficiency, saving radiologists significant time and reducing cognitive load across every study they read. No matter the scanner, no matter the institution, ScanFlow delivers consistency. Read more about ScanFlow.
