MedDream DICOM Viewer gives radiologists and mammography specialists the ability to search, view, and analyze mammography images from anywhere, on any device. MedDream supports the Mammography (MG) modality alongside CT, MR, and PET — enabling clinicians to correlate mammography findings with other imaging studies in a single web viewer. The Mammography dedicated tools like: Quadrant Zoom, Fit to Image, CAD marks, Align & Lock, and Mammography MIP is available — from any device, in one vendor-neutral web viewer.
The following tools are specifically designed for mammography image navigation and analysis:
Zoom Selection. Manually zoom into a specific area of the mammography image by dynamically selecting the region of interest.
Fit to Image. Function to automatically crop empty background for mammography images.
Quadrant Zoom. Provides an overview of the enlarged quadrant of the mammogram image, with the location marked.
Align and Lock. The left or right image alignment and locking function while applying zoom or pan actions. Possibility to move labels and buttons to the opposite side.
Mammography MIP. Intensity Projection for breast tomosynthesis series, generate a 2D reconstructed view using the MIP button in the viewport toolbar.
Displaying CAD SR findings (iCAD and R2) on mammography images. Possibility to show/hide.
Mammography-Specific Tool: Quadrant Zoom.
Browse mammography images in original resolution, quadrant by quadrant, for detailed examination of the full image area. The system displays overview images in both viewports with the current quadrant highlighted in red and the overall quadrant map in green. Navigate sequentially through all quadrants using keyboard shortcuts or panel toolbar buttons, ensuring no part of the image is overlooked.
Supported modalities for mammography imaging:
- MG – Mammography (including breast tomosynthesis)
MG studies can be viewed alongside clinically relevant radiology modalities — including CT, MR, and PET — within the same session, supporting multidisciplinary tumor board and oncology workflows.

- Integration via Communication API;
- Integration via Viewport API.
The following layout features usable for mammography workflow:
Layout. (Including 1×2 side-by-side view optimized for standard mammography CC/MLO comparison).
Hanging protocols. Dedicated hanging protocols for mammography, enabling automatic display of images in the correct layout and orientation when a study is opened.
