Softneta has finished project which was partly funded according to the Nordic-Baltic Mobility and Network Programme for Business and Industry.
The Project was successfully implemented in less than 6 months (17/06/2013 – 09/11/2013). During the project Softneta’s delegation of CEO Vytautas Baublys and CTO Tomas Dumbliauskas visited two Nordic countries: Finland (two times) and Denmark (one time).
During the project Softneta together with Nordic partners created a development plan of workstation for a processing of ultrasonic data as the reference to digital optical.
The visits established a closer collaboration between Lithuanian, Finish and Danish companies. Softneta and Optotec (Finland) and other Lithuanian partners applied to receive EU funding according to Eureka programme and in this way increased the visibility of Nordic-Baltic cooperation.
Moreover, Softneta and Optomed (Finland) started a new collaboration in developing innovative Telemedicine platform which would allow to share medical information and medical specialist resources nationally. With the help of the Telemedicine platform, the leading medical specialists will provide remote medical consultations to the region hospitals’ patients. This service maximally improves the access to medical services as distance barrier is eliminated, there is no need to make patient`s examination repeatedly in different Medical Institutions.
