The new 8.8.0 version of MedDream DICOM Viewer is released!

The most important new features and improvements are described below. 

New features of the viewing functionality:

• Mobile UI design update: 
  • New Thumbnail window.
  • Default drag/swipe actions.
  • Quick menu, Help and mobile PDF viewing.

• Improved Settings. Configure menu buttons for desktop and mobile Show/Pin/Hide options:
  

• Quick Save Hanging Protocol. Simple save the view of viewer window as HP:
  

• Save Workspace State. Save and load workspace states on study open per study/user:

• DICOM Upload. Upload DICOMs to configured PACS (role is needed):

• Study Update from PACS. Track study changes in PACS:

• Image Filtering. Smooth, Sharpening and Edge filters options. Configurable via Plugin:

• Multiframe Sync. Synchronized playback and control across all multiframe viewports:

• Cardiac Volume. New method of measuring the Cardiac Volume:

• Layout. Then switching to 1×1 layout the active image is maintained:

Improvements:

• Segmentation. The Segmentation tools were reorganized:
  • Segmentation (previously Smart Paint) and Annotation (previously Bounding Box).
  • New tools for Annotation: Point, Polyline, Polygon, Spline, Circle and Ellipse.
  • Added support for Ultrasound studies (need to configure).

• Improved Measurements. Line, Polyline, Area, Closed Polygon, Flexpoly.
• Toolbar. Option to hide labels of main toolbar buttons:

• Zoom. Quadrant Zoom. Works with slightly different dimensions, or even when one image is not available.
• Zoom. Fit To Image. Function to automatically crop empty background for mammography images:

  • Create/update/delete Dental CPR curves.

  • Empty segments list for easier user workflow.
  • Change the link scrolled series setting.
  • Activate measurements tools.
  • Set FPS value for Multiframes studies.
  • Forwarding of shortcuts to MedDream in iFrame.
